Uniform

When students wear a school uniform, they feel included in our school community building their sense of belonging and pride with the school.

Students, teachers, parents and carers, as well as members of our local community helped develop our school uniform to make sure it:

• meets the requirements of occupational health and safety, anti-discrimination and equal opportunity legislation

• includes items that are affordable, comfortable and made from easy-care and easy-wear fabrics

• is appropriate for the full range of school activities

• is suitable for all body shapes.

Islington Uniform Items

• Tunic
• School branded polo shirt
• Black Shorts - either culotte style or 'blockers' style
• Black ankle socks
• Black closed in school shoes, preferably leather. (Joggers may be worn on sport and PE days)
• School branded Jacket, Plain Black Sloppy Joe or Jacket
• School branded wide brim hat OR school branded cap
• Black Tracksuit Pants or trousers (jeans and tights are not acceptable school uniform)
• Black stockings may be worn under the tunic
